Manu carries on the wanderer’s tradition. Just like the circus artists, that have always lived their lives wandering from place to place, Manu reflects the same way of life. Together with his huge bag where he keeps all of his most precious objects, he finds happiness on spreading joy amongst others.

Resultant of an heritage left by the tramp and hobo clowns of past generations like Otto Griebling, Emmet Kelly and Joe Jackson, the classics of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton’s silent movies, and the vaudeville numbers, Manu gives continuity with contemporary techniques and languages, to the hobo clown myth, transforming and innovating the concept based on today’s clown reality.
